We're Truckers

Sorry for the delay in web posts, but our internet connection has been sketchy the last several days. We'll catch you up though...
Drive to Pro Event and Lymanland
We are officially "truckers"! We made it to Alabama from Ohio, thanks to Marcus and PJ for driving! Terry crashed early (some guys just aren't cut out for life on the road). After Marcus' driving shift, the two of us couldn't hold out much past midnight either, but PJ kept truckin (literally). He took us all the way to Birmingham where he had to call it a night, or should I say morning, at 4:00 am. We hesitantly parked next to a herd of semis at a Flying J, just to breathe diesel fumes during a few hours of sleep before making our way to Lymanland on Wednesday.
Lymanland, where the pro event this weekend was held, is a sweet site. There is grass all around with forest and hills half surrounding it. We had a little shock to the system when we stepped out of the air conditioning though. Being out of the south for a month or so, we forgot what it feels like to choke on the humid air. For that reason, we are stoked to get back out west to the drier air.
Wednesday and Thursday Marcus, Terry, and all the other competitors got some practice sets in to get ready for the event. It's always crazy when all the guys get together...a weekend of intense competition on the water, but lots of jokes and laughs off the water.
