Tour Wrap Up
Posted on 08/22/2008
Chico, CA - 8/18/08
We made it to Chico, CA (Marcus' home turf) last Thursday evening. On our way through town Marcus had several calls from friends saying, "Hey man, just saw you drive by!", "Dude, was that you?" Once again, Pete catches everyone's attention!!! Since we've been back, life hasn't slowed down much. We spent all weekend getting Pete cleaned out, fixing up Marcus' home dock, skiing, and enjoying being in one place. After we got all the nitty gritty work done (and had some fun) PJ flew home to Charleston, calling it a summer for Face to Face Tour 2008.
One crew member down, Marcus and Jenny headed out to Brent and Kristen Ching's new lake for one more tour stop last Sunday. It was nice to be at a home lake for a laid back day with friends to wrap up the tour. Huge thanks to Brent and Kristen for putting it all together and making Face to Face Tour 2008 end with a bang!

Coming to a Close - 8/21/08
Today, Marcus jumped on a plane to London for the Princes ProAm. After he tears it up overseas, he heads back to the states to Charleston for another MasterCraft pro tour stop. Jenny left Chico today also to head home to Colorado. Minus the travel back to Texas to return Pete, today marks the end of Face to Face Tour 2008. This summer has been more than we could have expected. More work, but most importantly more success! We have traveled around 12,000 miles, hit 25 states (some more than once) and Canada, impacted thousands of people, and made waterskiing a spectacle - all promoting the sport. There have been ups and downs, goods and bads, but all in all, we're ready to see what 2009 has in store for Face to Face.
Even though the tour travel is over, don't stop checking the website. We'll keep things going with articles, stories, the latest news in waterskiing, where our lives are taking us and plans for next year.
